Recovery isn’t a straight line—it’s a series of doable steps, repeated with support. At Recovery Centers of Carolina, our drug rehab program is designed to meet that reality. We blend evidence-based treatment with practical tools and compassionate care so change feels manageable on the hard days and sustainable on the good ones.
Your first call is confidential and pressure-free. Our admissions team listens, verifies insurance, reviews options in plain language, and coordinates a start date that fits your work, school, or family schedule. You’ll know what to bring, what to expect, and how we’ll tailor your plan before day one.
Every client begins with a thorough bio-psycho-social assessment covering medical history, substance use patterns, mental health, strengths, supports, and goals. Using that picture, we build an individualized treatment plan—then adjust it as you progress. Our continuum includes detox and stabilization (when appropriate), Partial Hospitalization/Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient (OP), and structured aftercare. Step-down levels let you practice new skills while support stays in place.
Our clinicians use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to change unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for emotion regulation and distress tolerance, Motivational Interviewing to strengthen your reasons to change, and relapse-prevention planning to identify triggers and build concrete coping strategies. You’ll work through a balanced mix of individual counseling, group therapy, and family sessions to rebuild trust and communication at home.
For opioid and alcohol use disorders, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) can reduce cravings and stabilize brain chemistry. If MAT is right for you, our medical team provides careful evaluation, education, and monitoring, and always pairs medication with therapy and skills training. The goal isn’t to “replace one substance with another,” but to create a safer foundation for change.
Anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, grief, and sleep issues often travel with substance use. We treat both together through integrated psychiatry, therapy, and (when appropriate) medication management so healing isn’t fragmented across providers. Coordinated care improves outcomes and helps you feel better, faster.
Sustainable recovery is built on routine. We coach sleep hygiene, nutrition, stress management, time management, budgeting, and communication skills. Vocational and academic guidance supports a confident return to work or school. Before discharge, you’ll leave with a written aftercare plan—follow-up appointments scheduled, peer-support meetings identified, and early-warning strategies rehearsed.
Expect privacy, clear costs, flexible scheduling, and telehealth where appropriate. We offer LGBTQ+-affirming services, trauma-informed practices, veteran-aware support, and culturally responsive care so you feel seen and safe.
After primary treatment, alumni groups, peer mentorship, and ongoing therapy options keep you connected. Recovery thrives in community—people who understand the journey and celebrate progress of every size.
If you or someone you love is ready for change, Recovery Centers of Carolina is ready to help—compassionately, evidence-based, and tailored to your life. Reach out today for a confidential conversation and a plan that meets you where you are and guides you toward where you want to be.
